WHO WE ARE
We are partners in a 4th generation family farming operation in the heart of Southwest Saskatchewan Canada.
Our Mission
At Braylin Acres Ltd., we are dedicated to stewarding the land God has entrusted to us, cultivating it with integrity, sustainability, and excellence. Guided by our strong biblical values, we believe that through faith, hard work, and with the right people, we can build a thriving farm that nourishes our communities while preserving the land for future generations. Our commitment to honest relationships, quality production, and responsible land management reflects our deep respect for both the land and those who work alongside us.
Sow for yourself righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground,
for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.
Hosea 10:12
What we do
Braylin Acres grows cereal crops, pulses and oil seeds. We grow these crops on dry land farm land and our newly added sub surface drip irrigation project.
“But streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.”
Genesis 2:6
Our Projects
We are relentlessly seeking excellence, thinking and imagining how we can do better, and different ways we can grow as an organization and as people.
Current Projects
One of our recent projects towards the goal of improving our operation and creating new growth opportunities was the installation of a sub surface drip irrigation system. Our sub surface drip irrigation system delivers the water and nutrients directly to the root source at the exact times that are needed for optimal production.
Our inspiration for installing this system is based off of the Bible verse Genesis 2:6 quoted above.
The expected and proven results of our sub surface drip irrigation system compared to an above ground pivot system after one full year of operation is base case reduction in these main crop input areas, and a 30% reduction in electricity, water, nitrogen and fungicide.
We anticipate our sub surface drip irrigation system will present opportunities in full scale vegetable and fruit production on open fields by the incremental incorporation of high tunnels.
Future Projects
Currently, we are looking to expand and maximize our irrigation investment and operation opportunities. For the 2025 season we are conducting full scale Black strap black bean production. In addition we are excited about several vegetable plots that we are doing R&D on including green bean, cucumber, romaine lettuce, sweet corn and carrot production. After the season we will re-evaluate from our experience to determine the best path forward for success.
